The first original musical ice show in Korea, 'G-SHOW: THE LUNA', has topped the musical ticket reservation rankings.
According to Ticketlink, 'The Luna' ranked first in the daily musical reservation rankings on the 17th. It surpassed a reservation rate of 27.88%, climbing four spots from the previous day.
Following 'The Luna' are musicals such as 'Death's Hymn', 'At the Entrance of Dawn', 'Eugene and Eugene', 'Mio Fratello', and 'Chicago' in order.
'The Luna' is the first musical ice show in Korea. It has garnered attention as a collaboration between a musical and an ice show. It premiered in early 2022.
The story is set in a world where spring and autumn have completely disappeared. It revolves around Garam and Winter, who are trying to protect 'Normalis', the only tree that retains the four seasons.
The musical features a total of 14 numbers, encompassing various genres. Unlike traditional ice shows, it enhances immersion with stage sets, lighting, and visuals.
The figure skating performances are also a highlight. From single techniques like jumps, Ina Bauer, and spirals to ice dancing and pair skating, various techniques are showcased.
'G-SHOW: THE LUNA' premiered on the 12th and will run until the 31st at Jamsil Students' Gymnasium in Seoul.
