Lottery Store That Never Had a First Prize Winner Grabs 2 Billion Won Luck

A story has emerged about a Spitto lottery ticket purchased on the way home from work at a lottery store in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, which hit the first prize of 2 billion won.

According to Donghaeng Lottery, on the 5th, Mr. A became the winner of the first prize by purchasing the Spitto 2000 60th round lottery ticket at a nearby store he frequented.

The Spitto lottery is a scratch-off ticket that allows players to check for winnings instantly. After purchasing the ticket, Mr. A scratched it and discovered two winning tickets worth 1 billion won each.

Recalling the moment he won, Mr. A said he was "dumbfounded for 2 to 3 seconds."

**First Thought After Winning: 'Buying a House'… Joy Shared with Family**

In an interview, Mr. A shared, "It’s a lottery store near my home where I always buy tickets, but they have never had a first prize winner, so I thought, 'Maybe one day a first prize will come out.'"

He confirmed his win multiple times and even asked the store owner for verification before fully realizing he had won the first prize.

Upon hearing the news, Mr. A's first thought was of his family. "My wife and child were the first to come to mind, and I thought, 'Now I can buy a house,'" he explained. He called his wife to tell her to stay awake, rushed home, and shared the news with her, celebrating the joy together.

Regarding plans for the substantial 2 billion won prize, Mr. A said, "I plan to buy a house and save the rest." He also humorously remarked, "I won the 'Eraser in a Bald Head,'" reflecting on his good fortune.
