SBS-TV's "Unanswered Questions" delves into the shamanism controversy surrounding President Yoon Suk-yeol and his wife. On the 3rd, "Unanswered Questions" released a preview of the episode titled "The Master and the Shaman – The President and the Shadow of Shamanism," which explores the reawakened suspicions regarding shamanistic influences.
From Yoon Suk-yeol's candidacy period to the state of emergency, the program revisited various instances. During a presidential candidate debate, Yoon appeared with the Chinese character for "king" (王) written on his palm. Former monk Jeon Sung-bae, also known as Geon-jin, was identified behind this, known to be close to Kim Keon-hee. He also held a significant position in Yoon's campaign.
Additionally, Cheon-gong proclaimed himself as a mentor to the president. Myung Tae-gyun, who calls himself a "Jirisan Taoist," allegedly advised these figures and possibly influenced policy decisions. The production team revisited suspicions that shamanism was involved in the relocation of the presidential office to Yongsan, as well as re-examining events like the Queen of England's funeral visit failure and the Great Whale Project.
They also tracked the whereabouts of Cheon-gong and Geon-jin. Myung was not included as he is currently detained under allegations of violating the Political Funds Act. The team interviewed both individuals to hear their perspectives.
Meanwhile, the "Unanswered Questions" episode on the president and the shadow of shamanism is set to air on the 4th at 11:10 PM.
