The horrific excuse of a man in his 30s who forcibly molested the wife’s friend after drinking together…

A Shocking Crime Occurring After a Drinking Session

A court has sentenced a man in his 30s to prison for forcibly molesting his wife's friend.

On the 9th, the Changwon District Court’s Criminal Division 3 Chief Judge Park Gi-joo revealed that a man identified as A, who was indicted on charges of semi-forced molestation, was sentenced to 8 months in prison. Additionally, he was ordered to complete 40 hours of sexual violence therapy and received a 3-year employment restriction related to children, adolescents, and disabled individuals.

The incident took place last November at A's residence in Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province.

After having drinks with his wife and the victim, identified as B in her 20s, A took advantage of the situation when B fell asleep in a drunken state and committed forced molestation. Even more shocking was the fact that after B woke up and protested, A returned to the room shortly afterward and repeated his crime.

The court did not accept the defendant's excuses.

During the proceedings, A claimed, "I went into the room to wake B up because I was looking for my earbuds and waved my arm at her, but I never touched her body," denying the charges. However, the court did not accept this defense.

The basis for the court's rejection of A's claims was several circumstantial pieces of evidence.

B's act of leaving the house in her pajamas and crying while seeking help from her ex-boyfriend immediately after the molestation, A sending a message to B the next day stating, "I'm sorry. I must have really lost my mind," and B providing a vivid and detailed account of the circumstances before and after the crime were all decisive evidence.

Chief Judge Park Gi-joo pointed out in the ruling that "A took advantage of the situation where B could not resist normally and exploited the trust built over a long relationship with his wife to commit the crime, making his guilt severe."

The judge also explained the reasons for sentencing by stating, "Considering that the victim is experiencing significant sexual humiliation and mental anguish, as well as the defendant's unreasonable excuses that show no remorse for his wrongdoing…"
