Actor Gong Myung and Shin Eun Soo will showcase a first-love romance.
On the 1st, Netflix announced, "The release date for the Netflix film 'The History of Confession' (directed by Nam Goong Seon) has been confirmed for the 29th." They also unveiled a teaser poster and trailer.
'The History of Confession' is a youth romance genre. It tells the story of a 19-year-old girl with frizzy hair who gets entangled with a transfer student as she prepares for the most significant confession of her life.
The teaser poster features Se-ri (played by Shin Eun Soo) struggling to straighten her curly hair. Cute objects like paper cranes and hair rollers catch the eye.
The text on the poster is also striking. The copy reads, "Just try to straighten this hair, I’m about to make my real confession," which piques curiosity about the success of her confession.
The teaser trailer begins with Se-ri’s narration. Her past moments of confessions flash by quickly, tangled like the frizzy hair she inherited from her father.
She resolves to take on her final project. Planning a confession operation for Kim Hyun (played by Cha Woo Min), she also appears to involve the transfer student Yun Seok (played by Gong Myung) in her plans.
It builds anticipation for a youthful love story. A representative stated, "Romance and refreshing chemistry with 90s sentiment will make everyone’s hearts race," expressing hopes for interest.
Meanwhile, 'The History of Confession' will be released exclusively on Netflix on the 29th.
