'The Fiery Priest 2' is a comic investigation drama. It is the sequel to 'The Fiery Priest' (2019). Writer Park Jae-beom promises an intense storyline, continuing from the previous work. Director Park Bo-ram co-directed Season 1 with Lee Myung-woo. He was later recognized for his outstanding directing skills in 'Through the Darkness.' This time, he takes the helm as the sole director of 'The Fiery Priest 2.'
The hero trio of 'The Fiery Priest' returns. Kim Nam-gil plays the hot-tempered Catholic priest Kim Hae-il. He is a man who is a priest by day and the boss of 'Bellator: Heavenly Faction' by night.
Lee Ha-nee returns from a villain to an apostle of justice. She is set to deliver a refreshing performance as prosecutor Park Kyung-sun. Kim Sung-kyun takes on the role of detective Goo Dae-young from the Gudam Police Department's violent crimes team.
The teaser poster also announced the return of the trio. Kim Nam-gil holds a rosary with charismatic eyes. Lee Ha-nee holds a sword, and Kim Sung-kyun draws attention with a gun.
The trio is expected to showcase perfect chemistry as they face the nation's largest drug cartel. The phrase "The mission of Bellator begins" heightens anticipation.
