Episode 9 of the SBS-TV Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Fiery Priest 2’ aired on the 6th. It depicted Kim Nam-gil (as Kim Hae-il) and Lee Ha-nee (as Park Kyung-sun) infiltrating a den of evil, disguised as a man’s sister and brother-in-law.

According to Nielsen Korea, episode 9 of ‘The Fiery Priest 2’ recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 11.3%, with 11.6% in the metropolitan area. The highest momentary viewership reached 12.3%.

It maintained its position as the number one show in viewership across all channels on Fridays for five consecutive weeks and ranked first among all programs broadcast during the week. The 2040 demographic rating was 3.2%, making it the top show on Friday and the number one for the entire week.

Kim Nam-gil’s passionate performance stood out, leading the drama with his delightful charm. He then switched to a serious demeanor, exuding charisma. Following season 1, his surprise cross-dressing performance captured the viewers’ attention once again.

On this day, it was revealed to those around him that Kim Hae-il has multiple sclerosis and is a Bella. The cooperative range gradually expanded, starting with the police chief of Uma, Ko Martha (played by Heo Soon-mi). The Goo Avengers also uncovered the identity of Eulbyeong-eo, the undercover narcotics officer.

‘The Fiery Priest 2’ is an uncompromising collaborative investigation drama about a priest who works as a priest by day and Bella (the boss of the Angel Party) by night, battling a drug cartel. Its highlights are its comedy and refreshing action.

Meanwhile, the broadcast of the 10th episode of ‘The Fiery Priest 2’ has been postponed due to the impact of martial law. It will air on the 13th at 10 PM.
