‘The Fiery Priest 2’ is a relentless joint investigation drama. It tells the story of a priest who operates as a clergyman by day and as Bellato, the boss of the Celestial faction, by night, as he confronts a drug cartel.
Kim Nam-gil (as Kim Hae-il), Lee Ha-nee (as Park Kyung-sun), and Kim Sung-kyun (as Goo Dae-young) showcase even stronger chemistry. The extraordinary dialogue and refreshing storyline are noteworthy.
In episodes 3 and 4, Father Kim Hae-il struggles to take down the drug organization. He engages in a brawl with the villain Kim Hong-sik’s group over crucial evidence (Busan’s sizzling eel). Father Kim Hae-il’s embodiment of justice was exhilarating as he transformed into a joker to defeat the gang, delivering a satisfying action sequence.
He seamlessly switches between comedic and serious tones. A source commented, “In the ending, Father Kim Hae-il finds himself in a situation where he loses consciousness after seeing a lizard tattoo. Please stay tuned to see if he can escape this crisis.”
