The Boyz, No. 1 on Japan’s Oricon… No. 1 on Release Day with ‘Gibberish’

The Boyz has taken Japan by storm.

On the 19th, The Boyz released their third Japanese regular album, 'Gibberish'. The album ranked number one on the Oricon Daily Album Chart on the day of its release.

On Japan Tower Records' K-pop World Sales Ranking Album Chart, the regular edition and limited first edition ranked 2nd and 3rd respectively.

The Boyz pre-released the title track 'Gibberish' on the 2nd. As of the 19th, the song topped the Line Music 'Realtime Chart' and ranked 4th on the 'Album Top 100'.

The track 'Shout it out' ranked 10th on the 'Song Top 100'. Despite being their first comeback in Japan in about a year, The Boyz dominated the charts.

'Gibberish' is a hip-hop dance song. The song is about redefining their sense of justice through music that embodies their values in a chaotic world.

The new album contains 8 tracks. They are 'Criss Cross', 'Unbreakable Sign', 'Skin', 'Forever You', 'Shout it out', 'Square One', 'Nothing Without You', and others.

Meanwhile, The Boyz will be holding 'The Boyz World Tour: Generation II' in Yokohama and Tokyo on August 10-11 and September 22-23 respectively.
