The Boyz hinted at a dystopian scenario. IST Entertainment released the first teaser video of The Boyz's 9th mini album 'Do or Die' on the 21st, showcasing the members' rugged and explosive visuals.
The opening was thrilling. The Boyz were seen riding motorcycles recklessly through desolate streets. Their smoky makeup and provocative actions caught the eye.
A representative stated, "It portrays a fierce rebellion against the mainstream within unstable humanity, expressing the pride in burning the set rules and pioneering a new path."
The music video was directed by High Quality Fish, who previously worked on aespa's 'Drama,' IVE's 'I AM,' and (G)I-DLE's 'Nude.' This time, they are depicting The Boyz as leaders of a riot.
The title track 'Trigger' features a progression from house electro-pop sound to majestic hip-hop, aiming to bring about significant change in the world.
The Boyz present their signature conceptual music. 'Hitmakers' like DEEZ, who worked with Baekhyun, NCT 127, and aespa, as well as YUNSU, collaborated on this.
Meanwhile, The Boyz's 9th mini album will be released on the 28th at 6 PM. Prior to that, a comeback live show commemorating the release of 'Do or Die' will be globally broadcasted at 4:30 PM.
