Park Jin-young has suffered the loss of his father. On the 20th, Park Jin-young announced on Instagram that his father had passed away. "Just before the final live broadcast of 'The Ddanddara' today, my father went to heaven," he revealed.

Park Jin-young's father had been battling dementia. "He passed away while I was recording 10 minutes away from the hospital. Fortunately, I was able to see him before the recording and again immediately after he passed," he said.

He continued, "Over the past year, he lived mostly unconscious, so the family was prepared mentally. Seeing my father after he passed felt like my heart dropped to the ground," he expressed his emotions.

Park Jin-young also left a letter for his father. "My 'Best Friend,' whom I called dad until the very end, you must be reading this from heaven now," he conveyed tenderly.

He added, "The person I've become is truly because of you, Dad. Thank you. You were really the best dad to me. Let's meet again and have many conversations."

The funeral will be held quietly with family members. Park Jin-young requested, "Please, if you could be with us in spirit, I would be grateful."
