'NewJeans' Haerin was moved by the birthday letters written by fans, expressing her gratitude.
On the 15th, Haerin posted a lengthy message on the 'mhdhh_friends' account, which the members independently operate.
She celebrated her 19th birthday that day, receiving letters from Bunnies (the fandom name) through birthday cafes and online platforms in the Mapo district of Seoul.
Using somewhat intense expressions, she conveyed her emotions, saying, "Hello, Bunnies. The letter was really crazy," and asked, "What’s up with the Bunnies?"
Haerin wrote, "There are times when I don't know how to express vague feelings," adding, "I feel exactly that way right now. Thank you so much."
She further expressed, "Writing letters takes energy, so thank you for taking the time," and added, "Thank you for quietly supporting me during this difficult time."
She compared the conflict with her agency to a 'difficult time.' NewJeans had attempted independent activities after declaring the termination of their exclusive contract in November of last year.
They claimed that Ador violated the agreement and asserted that the existing contract was automatically terminated. However, the court issued a provisional ruling, leading to a suspension of their activities.
Haerin expressed, "Today, I feel amazing myself," and stated, "I think I can spend a pleasant day thanks to the Bunnies. Thank you," reiterating her gratitude.
Meanwhile, NewJeans and Ador continue to engage in legal disputes. A second hearing regarding the validity of the exclusive contract will take place on the 5th of next month.
