Shocking Behavior of Unlicensed Teenagers
Teenagers who caused the death of a taxi driver due to unlicensed driving posted videos of themselves dancing on social media after the accident, sparking public outrage.
This shocking incident raises awareness about the seriousness of traffic accidents and juvenile crime.

According to a report by SBS on the 17th, a tragic accident occurred in Asan in May, resulting in the death of taxi driver Mr. A while he was returning home. The cause of the accident was revealed to be a metal pole that was propelled into Mr. A's vehicle after the teenagers’ car, driven without a license, crashed into the central divider. These teenagers were driving a rental car without a license and did not provide any assistance at the scene of the accident.
Even more shocking is the behavior of the offending teenagers after the accident.
According to the victim's family, the teenagers posted videos of themselves dancing on social media, even while hospitalized, including content that seemed to mock the situation of the accident.
They irresponsibly shared a video on social media showing them responding lightly to a question about how they felt after the accident, saying, "It feels like crap."
Legal Action and Family's Anger

According to testimonies from the victim's family, the offenders made no attempt to apologize or negotiate after the accident and did not attend the funeral. This irresponsible attitude deepened the family's pain.
As a result of the legal proceedings, the driver of the offending vehicle was sentenced to six years in prison. However, the victim's family expressed strong dissatisfaction that the teenage passengers who aided the unlicensed driving were not penalized and instead classified as victims.
The passengers claimed they were unaware the driver was unlicensed, and the police accepted this without charging them as offenders.
This incident once again highlights the seriousness of juvenile crime and the risks of violating traffic regulations. Additionally, the inappropriate behavior posted on social media after the accident raises the need for education on ethical awareness in the digital age.
