Teenage Male Assaults Woman and Sets Fire After Drinking in His Apartment
A teenage boy, referred to as A, was arrested on site by the Dongdaemun Police Station for assaulting a woman and setting a fire in his apartment while drinking.

According to the Dongdaemun Police Station on the 26th, A is accused of assaulting a woman in her 20s, identified as B, in the abdomen and subsequently setting a fire at a multi-family dwelling in Jeongidong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul at approximately 1:06 AM on the 22nd.
Fortunately, B's injuries were minor, and the fire was extinguished about 20 minutes after it broke out, resulting in no casualties.
Crime Committed in a State of Heavy Intoxication… Residents Feel Unsafe
Witnesses from the surrounding area reported that A had only recently moved into the multi-family housing.
On the day of the incident, it was revealed that A had been drinking with other residents living in the same building.

Police investigations found that A was heavily intoxicated at the time of the incident, and a verbal dispute had escalated into assault and arson.
A police official stated, "We are conducting an investigation into A without detention," adding, "We will investigate the exact circumstances of the incident, including whether arson was committed."
