Taeyeon to perform at the festival? Confusion among fans due to mixed signals from the organizers

Confusion is escalating among fans as conflicting statements from the organizers regarding singer Taeyeon's participation in a regional festival have been reported.

On the 14th, a poster for the 'Jangsu Hanwoo and Apple Festival' was posted on an online community, attracting attention. The poster included Taeyeon, a former member of the popular girl group 'Girls' Generation', in the lineup, which garnered significant interest.

According to the released poster, the festival is scheduled to be held from September 18 to 21 at the Uiam Park area in Jangsu, featuring a variety of artists including Taeyeon, TripleS, Park Ji-hyun, and Choi Jae-myung.

However, it was revealed that the actual performer at the festival is trot singer Kim Taeyeon. A source explained, "There was an error during the production of the promotional material," and the festival organizers have stated their intention to correct the misinformation.

In response, Taeyeon's agency, SM Entertainment, told News1, "It is not true that Taeyeon will be performing at the Jangsu festival. She has not been contacted for the performance," adding, "We hope fans do not face any confusion."

Kim Taeyeon's agency, K Tigers Entertainment, also confirmed to the media, "It is correct that Kim Taeyeon will participate in the 'Jangsu Hanwoo and Apple Festival.'"

A simple error in the creation of the festival's promotional material has led to a situation causing confusion among fans.
