SHINee’s Taemin is garnering global popularity with his first solo world tour. According to his agency, Taemin opened ticket sales for five U.S. cities for his world tour “Ephemeral Gaze” on the 15th. Concerts in New York, Chicago, Houston, Oakland, and Los Angeles sold out instantly.

This proves his global influence, following the sell-out records of his concerts in South America and Europe. Starting in Incheon last August, Taemin has performed in 10 Asian cities. With the popularity in Asia, an additional 14 city performances have been scheduled.

Taemin will kick off in Macau on January 4th next year, continuing to meet local fans in South America, the U.S., and Europe. The agency stated, “The world tour encapsulates Taemin himself, with flashy stage setups and sophisticated direction, featuring a setlist full of both recent hits and Taemin’s signature songs.” Taemin will continue his world tour on December 4th at the Studio City Event Center in Macau.
