“From the beginning to now, it was always you. I was always inside of you.”

Netflix released the main poster and main trailer for the new original series ‘Sweet Home Season 3’ on the 3rd. It depicts the final battle between humans, monsters, and the new human race.

First, the main poster captured the stadium, the primary setting of the previous season. However, it was hard to recognize. It had been entirely destroyed, engulfed in strong flames.

The poster showed the stark contrast between the two main characters. Hyun-soo (played by Song Kang) unfolded wings covered in sharp spikes, contrasting with the tentacles wielded by Sang-wook (played by Lee Jin-wook).

Curiosity about their conclusion is growing. Hyun-soo and Sang-wook started as allies (Season 1) with the same goal. However, in Season 2, their relationship turned into one of bad blood.

The main trailer heightened the tension. It overlaid the voice of a monster on Hyun-soo’s appearance from the last season, hinting that it had been deeply rooted within him from the very beginning.

Eun-yoo (played by Go Min-si) also appeared. She pleaded with Hyun-soo, who had blue eyes, to “please come with me.” Terrified survivors anticipated a brutal reality.

Eun-hyuk (played by Lee Do-hyun) appeared as one of the new humans. He explained to Kim Young-hoo (played by Kim Moo-yeol), who pointed a gun at him, “We are beings who have been reborn.”

An even more desperate and dire battle unfolds. Yi-kyung (played by Lee Si-young) awoke in her human form, unlike when she was previously overtaken by a monster, raising expectations for her subsequent actions.

Additionally, Chang-ryong (played by Jin-young), Tak In-hwan (played by Yoo Oh-sung), Dr. Lim (played by Oh Jung-se), and Ah-i (played by Kim Si-a) appeared one after another, struggling for survival.

Director Lee Eung-bok highlighted the focal points of ‘Sweet Home Season 3.’ “A variety of characters appear. I hope you watch while cheering for your favorite character,” he said.

He continued, “Pay attention to the battles between the demonized Sang-wook and Hyun-soo, who tries to keep his humanity, and Yi-kyung, who fights to protect a child.”

Meanwhile, ‘Sweet Home Season 3’ tells the story of those standing at the crossroads of choice between the ambiguous boundaries of monsters and humans. It will be released on Netflix on the 19th.
