Actress Suzy and Kim Sun-ho will team up for a mystery drama.
The production team of the Disney+ original series 'Hyunhyeok' (scripted and directed by Han Jae-rim) announced the streaming schedule on the 23rd, confirming its release in 2026.
'Hyunhyeok' is a mystery period drama based on a webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of a poor painter approaching the mysterious secret of a woman.
Suzy and Kim Sun-ho are reuniting after four years. They previously worked together in tvN's 'Start-Up,' where their distinct chemistry excited viewers.
Suzy will play 'Song Jung-hwa,' a woman of enchanting beauty. However, she is a mysterious figure who has been living in seclusion for over half a century.
Kim Sun-ho will portray 'Yoo I-ho,' an unknown painter who is commissioned to paint a portrait of the mysterious woman. He falls into fear and confusion as he visits the hotel where she resides.
Director Han Jae-rim is at the helm, recognized for his unique style in films such as 'The Elegant World,' 'The Face Reader,' and dramas like 'The King' and 'The Eight Show.'
'Hyunhyeok' is set to be released worldwide through Disney+ next year.
