Incheon Large Mart Parking Lot Accident, 80-Year-Old Driver Dies
An accident occurred in the underground parking lot of a large mart in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, where an SUV driven by an elderly man in his 80s collided with a building column.
As a result of this accident, the driver tragically lost his life.
According to the Incheon Fire Department, around 3:35 PM on the 13th, Mr. A (85), driving a Hyundai Palisade, crashed head-on into a parking lot column in the underground parking lot located in Samsan-dong, Bupyeong-gu.
The vehicle's engine compartment was severely damaged at the shocking accident scene.
Upon receiving a report from a witness, the fire authorities quickly arrived and performed CPR on Mr. A, who was found in cardiac arrest, before swiftly transporting him to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, Mr. A passed away during treatment.

This accident has been confirmed as a solo incident involving Mr. A, with no injuries to other vehicles or individuals.
The specific circumstances in the parking lot at the time of the accident and the exact cause of the collision have not yet been clearly determined.
