Actor Soo-hyun has returned as a compelling villain.
On the 30th, the Netflix series 'Gyeongseong Creature Season 2' (hereafter 'Gyeongseong Creature 2') released a special poster and still cuts featuring Maeda (played by Soo-hyun).
In the poster, Maeda wears an inscrutable expression. Surrounded by secret elite agent Kuroko, he exudes a sinister aura.
It piqued curiosity. In 1945, Maeda was a benefactor of Ongseong Hospital, but he re-emerges in Seoul in 2024. This will heighten the tension.
Various moments of Maeda are captured as well. The stills unveiled alongside the poster hint at Maeda's life journey. They depict his travels from Gyeongseong to Seoul.
The obsession remains. He pursues Hojae (played by Park Seo-joon) and Chaeok (played by Han So-hee), who resemble Taesang. The continuation of their encounters to the present day intrigues viewers.
Soo-hyun stated, "While I shed the clumsy Korean of past, I ensured the emotions from the past still connect. The emotions have grown stronger."
He encouraged viewers by discussing his character, adding, "You'll see not just the restrained Maeda, but also the boiling, passionate Maeda."
Meanwhile, 'Gyeongseong Creature 2' is a sequel to 'Gyeongseong Creature.' It delves into the fates, destinies, and enmities of Hojae and Chaeok that remain unresolved in Gyeongseong.
