Stray Kids Revive Korean Traditional Beauty…Hip Comeback on December 13th

Stray Kids has entered the comeback countdown. On the 20th, Stray Kids released group and unit teasers for their new album SKZHOP HIPTAPE ‘HOP’ on their official website. They reinterpreted the traditional crew Namsadangpae. The unique beauty of a Hanok was combined with a trendy style.

They showcased exotic charms with bold accessories and lip piercings. The heightened visual appeal of the members stood out. They captivated with confident attitudes and intense gazes, increasing anticipation for their new album with their hip charisma.

The HIPTAPE is a new type of album. The first work ‘HOP’ combines the Korean word for unity and the English word “hop,” giving it a double meaning. An official stated, “Like a new genre that is not officially defined, it includes new genre songs unique to Stray Kids. We will present a different musical color.” A total of 12 songs are included. The title track is ‘Walkin On Water.’ The group’s producing team 3RACHA, led by all members, contributed to the credits.

They also covered various genres. ‘U’ was supported by Epik High’s Tablo. ‘Bounce Back’ and ‘Walkin On Water’ (Hip ver.) are also included. The solo songs from their world tour will be officially released as well. These include ‘Railway’ (Bang Chan), ‘Unfair’ (Felix), and ‘HALLUCINATION’ (I.N).

You can also listen to ‘Yuth’ (Lee Know), ‘So Good’ (Hyunjin), ‘ULTRA’ (Changbin), ‘Hold My Hand’ (Han), and ‘Like That, Slowly, Us’ (Seungmin). They have been nominated at major world award ceremonies at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. They have also been nominated for the ’67th Grammy Awards’ on February 2nd next year.

The soundtrack of the movie “Deadpool and Wolverine,” in which SKZ’s ‘Slash’ is included, has been ranked in the Grammy’s ‘Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media’ category. Meanwhile, Stray Kids will release their new album on major music sites at 2 PM (Eastern US time, 0 AM) on the 13th of next month.
