Stray Kids have added another Gold-certified work to their achievements recognized by the Recording Industry Association of America.
On the 31st of last month (local time), the RIAA revealed the new 'Gold & Platinum' certified albums on their website. Stray Kids earned a Gold certification with their mini album 'MAXIDENT,' released in October 2022, having sold over 500,000 copies in the U.S. alone.
The RIAA awards certifications based on sales numbers in the United States: Gold for over 500,000, Platinum for over 1 million, Multi-Platinum for over 2 million, and Diamond for over 10 million.
This achievement brings Stray Kids' total to eight RIAA Gold-certified records. They previously received this recognition for the singles 'God’s Menu,' 'Maniac,' 'Back Door,' 'Thunderous,' the albums '5-Star,' 'Rockstar,' and '8.'
'MAXIDENT' features all members contributing to the credits of all eight tracks included in the album, with the group’s producing team 3RACHA, spearheaded by Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han, embedding their distinct musical identity and authenticity.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids will be embarking on their world tour 'DOMINATE' starting this March.
