Stray Kids showcased exceptional album power on the Billboard charts. On the 24th (local time), Billboard released its latest charts (dated December 28). Stray Kids ranked in 14 categories on the latest chart with their release of 'SKZ-REPLAY' on the 13th, the title track 'Walkin' on Water', and other tracks.
Notably, on the 'Billboard 200', they reached the top by selling 187,000 units in the US in the first week of release. They have set a record of six consecutive works debuting at number one. From the 2022 mini album 'ODDINARY' to 'MAXIDENT', the 2023 third full album '5-STAR', the mini album 'ROCK-STAR', this year's '8', and the new album 'HOP'.
Stray Kids is the only artist to debut six consecutive albums at number one on the 'Billboard 200' since the establishment of the chart in March 1956. They also secured the first position on the 'Artist 100', marking the fifth time they've simultaneously topped the 'Billboard 200'. Additionally, they dominated other categories such as 'Top Current Album Sales', 'Top Album Sales', 'World Album', and 'World Digital Song Sales'.
Stray Kids is creating history in the global music market with their self-produced songs. This year, they achieved remarkable success with English singles 'Lose My Breath' and 'Chikichiki Boom' making it onto the 'Billboard Hot 100'.
Recently, they lifted the trophy for the Top Global K-Pop Artist category at the 'Billboard Music Awards' in the US, marking a consecutive win. Their new album is also gaining popularity on global charts. The album ranked 91st on the UK Official Chart's 'Official Album Chart Top 100' dated the 20th. It also topped the Hanteo Chart's weekly physical album chart for two consecutive weeks, the Circle Weekly Retail Album Chart, and Spotify's Top Album Debut Global and USA.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids is conducting their largest self-hosted world tour 'DOMINATE', with 48 performances across 32 regions worldwide. Next month, they will perform in Hong Kong on the 18th and 19th. Starting in March, they will perform on grand stadium stages in 20 regions across Latin America, North America, and Europe.
