Stray Kids have added to their Billboard chart records, reaching their highest position yet. On the 30th (KST), Billboard announced on its official SNS, "Stray Kids have secured the 49th spot on the 'Hot 100' with the title track 'Chk Chk Boom' from their 9th mini album."
This marks their career high on the chart. Stray Kids previously entered the 'Hot 100' twice. They made their debut with the title track 'Rock' from their 8th mini album, which hit 90th place.
Their English digital single 'Lose My Breath' also made it onto the main singles chart, securing 90th place following 'Rock'. Their collaboration with Charlie Puth captivated local listeners.
The group's agency remarked, "The Billboard 'Hot 100' is a major indicator of mainstream popularity in the pop market. By setting a new personal best, they have cemented their status as a global artist."
The new album 'ATE' marks Stray Kids' first comeback this year, reflecting their unique identity. The album title expresses their ambition to dominate the summer music market.
That plan has come to fruition. They debuted at number one on the Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200', making it their fifth consecutive album to achieve this feat—a record among global groups.
They've conquered global charts, too. The latest album chart from the French Record Association also places them at number one. Stray Kids' 'Chk Chk Boom' landed at 30th place on the UK's 'Official Singles Chart Top 100'.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids will kick off their new world tour 'dominATE' next month at KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
