The poster features signature scenes from 'Squid Game', depicting the act of dragging a deceased participant into a coffin. The gigantic shadow of 'Cheol-su', the partner of 'Young-hee', piques curiosity about the new game.
The stills portray Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) and the participants following a failed rebellion. Gi-hun looks intently at someone while being handcuffed. The Front Man (played by Lee Byung-hun) appears in a black mask again, revealing clues about Season 3.
'Hyun-joo' (played by Park Sung-hoon), 'Yong-sik' (played by Yang Dong-geun), 'Geum-ja' (played by Kang Ae-shim), and 'Joon-hee' (played by Jo Yu-ri) are engulfed in sorrow after losing a comrade. Pink Guard 'No-eul' (played by Park Kyu-young) is seen standing without a mask outside the game area.
'Squid Game 3' tells the final story of Gi-hun, who lost his closest friend in the game, the Front Man, and the surviving participants.
Season 2 focused on the intense confrontation between Gi-hun and the Front Man. Season 3 explores the psychology of Gi-hun and the participants at a crossroads after a failed rebellion against the organizers.
A spokesperson mentioned that "Director Hwang Dong-hyuk is set to present a grand finale through Season 3" and added, "Watch to see if we can still hope for a modicum of humanity amid cruel realities."
