Stray Kids has added another record as the first K-pop group to perform at a mega venue in São Paulo, Brazil.
On the 6th and 7th of October (Korea time), Stray Kids held their solo concert "dominATE" at the Estádio do Morumbi in São Paulo, Brazil. They are the first K-pop group to take the stage there, which has previously hosted acts like Metallica, Madonna, Coldplay, Justin Bieber, and Lady Gaga.
This marks their first visit to São Paulo since their debut, generating explosive interest. Due to the overwhelming demand, an additional performance was added, resulting in a total audience of 120,000.
They delivered a spectacular show, performing hits such as "MANIAC," "Chk Chk Boom," and "Walkin On Water." There was also a special stage where they showcased unit songs from their digital single "Mixtape: dominATE." Fireworks lit up the night as well.
The members expressed their gratitude, saying, "Thank you so much for waiting for a long time," and added, "Being here in person makes us feel even more love from STAY (the fandom). We are happy."
They continued, "We hope you felt happiness while listening to our songs. It was enjoyable," and concluded by saying, "Thank you for creating an unbelievable moment. We won’t forget it."
Stray Kids is currently on their largest-ever world tour, which began in August last year at the KSPO Dome in Seoul and will feature 55 performances across 34 locations worldwide. They have passed the halfway mark in Latin America, with stops in Santiago and Rio de Janeiro. They will wrap up the tour in Lima on the 9th and Mexico City on the 12th and 13th.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids is scheduled to hold a solo concert at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London in July.
