Actor Song Seung-heon transforms into a maestro, conducting the flow of the movie with elegance and sensuality. The production team of the film "Hidden Face" (directed by Kim Dae-woo) has released the first stills of Song Seung-heon's character. From the image of the conductor on the podium to scenes of unleashing hidden desires, it foreshadows Song Seung-heon's transformation in acting.
In the stills, he is seen conducting a large orchestra, engrossed in the music with his baton, exuding charisma. Another photo shows him looking startled as he receives a phone call.
Song Seung-heon plays the conductor 'Sung-jin'. His fiancée 'Soo-yeon' (played by Jo Yeo-jeong) suddenly disappears before their wedding. He then instinctively feels drawn to the newly joined cellist 'Mi-joo' (played by Park Ji-hyun) in the orchestra.
This marks his second collaboration with director Kim Dae-woo. Previously, he showcased shocking performances in 'Obsessed'. Once again, he takes on a striking transformation in “Hidden Face” with director Kim Dae-woo.
Director Kim Dae-woo mentioned, "I am confident that Song Seung-heon shows a side of himself as an actor that he hasn't revealed before." This raises expectations for Song Seung-heon's sensual and shocking performance.
"Hidden Face" is a confined space thriller. Sung-jin searches for his missing fiancée Soo-yeon's whereabouts. In front of him appears Soo-yeon's junior, Mi-joo. Soo-yeon is trapped in a secret space, revealing her bare self.
The film is scheduled to be released on the 20th of next month.
