Actress Song Hye-kyo surprised her fans with a special gift. She sang Uhm Jung-hwa’s classic song “After Love” herself. Song Hye-kyo released “After Love” on major online music platforms at 6 PM on the 10th. Her clear and pure vocals perfectly expressed the emotion of the song. “After Love” is a ballad released by Uhm Jung-hwa in 1997.

It is considered a classic due to its melancholic and poignant feelings. It is known to be one of Song Hye-kyo’s favorite songs. In fact, Song Hye-kyo mentioned in an interview a long time ago that “After Love” was her go-to song in karaoke. She often sang it with her mother during her school days.

The online reaction is enthusiastic. It’s no surprise since there was no promotion prior to the song’s release. Moreover, this is the first time Song Hye-kyo has sung since her CM song collaboration with John Park in 2012. Meanwhile, Song Hye-kyo is set to return to the big screen with the movie “Black Nuns” (premiering on the 24th).

She transforms into the nun “Yunia,” a character who strives to save a possessed boy. She will be working alongside actors Jeon Yeo-been, Lee Jin-wook, and Moon Woo-jin. Prior to the premiere, she has been making special appearances. On the 8th, she appeared on “You Quiz on the Block,” marking her return to variety shows after 23 years. She also plans to engage with the public through web variety shows “Kyung Ming Kyung,” “Vivo TV,” and “Jibdaeseong.”
