“Dirty spirits, leave at once.”
The film ‘The Dark Nuns’ (directed by Kwon Hyuk-jae) released a teaser trailer on the 16th. Actors Song Hye-kyo and Jeon Yeo-bin were featured. The fresh combination piqued curiosity.
The trailer is about 1 minute and 8 seconds long. Sister Yunia (played by Song Hye-kyo) walked with a stern expression. Sister Mikaela (played by Jeon Yeo-bin) prepared something.
The tension increased. Under the copy ‘The forbidden ritual begins,’ it implied that the nuns would engage in a ritual. They risk danger to save a boy.
‘The Dark Nuns’ is the second story to ‘The Priests’ (2015). It depicts people performing forbidden rituals to save a boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit.
Song Hye-kyo and Jeon Yeo-bin become the dark nuns, playing Sister Yunia and Sister Mikaela, respectively. Lee Jin-wook plays Father Paolo, and Moon Woo-jin plays the boy Hee-jun.
Meanwhile, ‘The Dark Nuns’ is set to be released in theaters on January 24th next year.
