The performances of actors Song Hye-kyo and Jeon Yeo-been will be featured on a massive screen. Distributor NEW announced on the 15th that the film "The Black Nuns" (directed by Kwon Hyuk-jae) is confirmed for an IMAX® release, promising an even more overwhelming immersive experience.

Viewers can now enjoy the film in various formats. "The tension-filled process of the (exorcism) ritual can be experienced more vividly," they confidently stated.

The poster has also been revealed. Sister Eun-i-a (played by Song Hye-kyo) and Sister Michaela (played by Jeon Yeo-been) are on the stairs. Their downward gaze sparks curiosity.

"The Black Nuns" is the second story following "The Priests" (2015). It depicts people who partake in a forbidden ritual to save a boy possessed by an evil spirit.

Song Hye-kyo takes on the role of Sister Eun-i-a. She appears very cold on the outside, but she is a character with a desperate sincerity to save the boy.

The acting chemistry with Jeon Yeo-been is a key point not to be missed. Jeon Yeo-been plays the role of Sister Michaela, who is drawn to Eun-i-a despite rebelling against her.

Additionally, Lee Jin-wook appears as Father Paolo, who believes only medical treatment, not exorcism, can save the boy. Moon Woo-jin plays Hwi-jun, the boy in danger.

Meanwhile, "The Black Nuns" is set to be released in theaters on the 24th.
