It achieved its highest viewership rating. "Your Honor" started with ratings in the 1% range during its first broadcast. Since then, its viewership steadily climbed to 2.8%, 3.4%, 3.8%, 4.3%, and 4.6%.

The power of word-of-mouth from viewers drove this. Stellar performances by Son Hyun-joo, Kim Myung-min, Kim Do-hoon, and Huh Nam-joon contributed to its success. The intriguing story and stylish direction also influenced the drama's popularity.

The final episode featured shocking developments. The paternal showdown between Song Pan-ho (played by Son Hyun-joo) and Kim Kang-heon (played by Kim Myung-min) ended in futility. Their fate left a deep resonance.

Despite their every effort to protect their children, they failed to keep anything safe. Song Ho-young (Kim Do-hoon) pointed a gun at Kim Sang-hyuk (Huh Nam-joon), who had been acquitted and released.

At the same time, Ma Ji-young (Jung Ae-yeon) learned the truth about her son's death from Kang So-young (Jung Eun-chae). Overcome with rage, she pulled the trigger on Song Ho-young, killing him.

Kim Kang-heon also faced ruin. His daughter Kim Eun (Park Se-hyeon), who loved Ho-young, witnessed his death and took her own life. He was devastated by the unexpected outcome.

At the end of the drama, the two men met again by the seaside. Song Pan-ho told the grief-stricken Kim Kang-heon, "This is the surest way to make us repent for our sins."
