A social service worker involved in a drug-influenced driving accident faces controversy for his nonchalant behavior.
A currently active social service worker was apprehended by the police after causing multiple accidents in the Gangnam area of Seoul while under the influence of drugs.
On the 28th, MBN reported that on the 26th at around 4:24 PM, a man in his 20s, identified as A, who was serving as a social service worker, caused a traffic accident while driving under the influence of drugs in an alley in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul.
According to the report, CCTV footage from the accident scene shows A exiting a black luxury SUV, re-entering the vehicle shortly after, then reversing briefly before suddenly speeding forward and crashing into a flowerbed and a utility pole.

What is even more serious is that A had already caused a first accident at a construction site located 120 meters away before crashing into the utility pole. It was investigated that had there been workers present at the construction site, this could have resulted in a dangerous situation leading to casualties.
After repeatedly causing accidents, A did not take necessary actions following the incidents; instead, he calmly exited the vehicle and smoked a cigarette. This behavior is interpreted as a sign of impaired judgment due to the influence of drugs.
When the police arrived at the scene in response to reports, A initially denied using drugs, claiming he had taken sleeping pills. However, it was confirmed that a preliminary drug test showed a positive result for ecstasy.
Positive for ecstasy
The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul has currently filed for an arrest warrant for A and plans to thoroughly investigate additional circumstances, including how he obtained the drugs.
