SM Entertainment is set to dominate the music scene in the latter half of the year. On the 8th, the company announced its lineup for the third and fourth quarters of 2024. NCT Dream, RIIZE, aespa, Taeyeon, and Irene are expected to dazzle until the end of the year.
First, the virtual artist 'Naivis' will make her official debut, releasing a single in the third quarter. A new girl group will be unveiled in the fourth quarter, about four years after aespa. A new boy group is also aiming for a 2025 debut.
The company's artists will continue their spectacular comebacks. Starting with NCT 127, SHINee's Key, WayV, RIIZE, NCT U, Sungmin, and Hyoyeon will make their comebacks in the third quarter.
The fourth quarter lineup is equally intense. NCT Dream will release a new full album and embark on their third world tour, covering North America, South America, and Europe.
Aespa will maintain momentum with a new mini-album in the latter half of the year. Fans can also expect solo activities from Jaehyun, Minho, Taeyeon, Yesung, Chanyeol, and Irene.
SM Entertainment will continue to expand beyond genres and regions. The company's first UK boy group, 'Dear Alice,' will begin activities in August, aiming for a strong global presence.
A five-member 'Trot Idol' group, consisting of former contestants from 'Mr. Trot,' is also in the works. Their growth story will be aired on TV programs in Korea and Japan, followed by a nationwide tour.
SM's contemporary R&B label 'KRUCIALIZE' will debut its first artist this October, continuing SM's sincere commitment to music.
