Stray Kids has added a new record as the first K-pop group to perform at the massive venue in São Paulo.
On June 6-7 (KST), Stray Kids held their solo concert 'dominATE' at the Estádio do Morumbi in São Paulo, Brazil. They are the first K-pop group to take the stage at this venue, which has hosted legends like Metallica, Madonna, Coldplay, Justin Bieber, and Lady Gaga.
This marks their first visit to São Paulo since their debut, and the explosive interest resulted in an additional concert due to sold-out tickets, with a total audience of 120,000.
They presented an impressive performance, singing hits like 'MANIAC,' 'Chk Chk Boom,' and 'Walkin On Water.'
There was also a special stage featuring the unit song from their digital single 'Mixtape: dominATE,' accompanied by fireworks.
The members expressed their gratitude, saying, "Thank you for waiting for such a long time," and added, "Seeing you in person makes us feel the love from STAY (the fandom) even more. We are happy."
They continued, "We hope you enjoyed listening to our songs. It was fun," and concluded, "Thank you for creating unbelievable moments for us. We will not forget this."
Stray Kids is currently on their largest world tour to date, which started in August of last year at the KSP Dome in Seoul, with a total of 55 performances across 34 locations worldwide.
They have now reached the midpoint of their Latin America shows, having performed in Santiago and Rio de Janeiro. They will conclude this leg with concerts in Lima on July 9 and in Mexico City on July 12-13.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids are scheduled to hold a solo concert at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London this coming July.
