Vehicle Accident Involving Sisters in Their 60s Leads to Cardiac Arrest Rescue

Yesterday (23rd), a vehicle carrying two sisters in their 60s fell into a reservoir in Namhae-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do.

According to the Gyeongsangnam-do Fire Department and Namhae Police Station, at around 12:16 PM, a passenger car collided with a fence and then plunged into the reservoir.

As a result of the incident, the sisters inside the vehicle were rescued in a state of cardiac arrest.

The younger sister, A, who was driving, ultimately passed away, while the older sister, B, is receiving treatment in the hospital.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident, which is believed to have occurred while attempting to turn the vehicle on a narrow road, based on witness accounts and black box data.
