Despite being defeated by Chen Yufei in the quarterfinals of the Singapore Open held on the 30th of last month, she reclaimed her title at the Indonesia Open.

This victory allowed Ahn Se-young to continue her winning streak in international competitions that had been interrupted at the Singapore Open. Previously, she had also won the Malaysia Open, India Open, Orleans Masters, and All England Open.

Ahn Se-young turns 'crisis' into 'victory' after fierce battles

Early in the tournament, Ahn Se-young engaged in a fierce battle with Wang Zhi, finishing with a score of 10-11. Following this, Wang Zhi launched a fierce attack, leading Ahn Se-young to make several errors and ultimately losing the first game 13-21.

In the second game, although faced with a crisis at 9-17, Ahn Se-young turned the tables with her intense offense and solid defense, claiming the game 21-19.
