
MBC will present the popular entertainment program 'Shooting Star' from Coupang Play. The first broadcast is confirmed for the 14th at 9 PM.
'Shooting Star' is a growth-oriented soccer entertainment show. Retired legendary players come together as a team. Under the leadership of head director Park Ji-sung and coach Choi Yong-soo, they will challenge active K-League players once again.
The show has been loved for its authenticity and recorded first place in the entertainment category on Coupang Play at the time of its release. It generated significant buzz, with the cumulative views of shorts and reels reaching 3 million.
PD Jo Hyo-jin and PD Hong Jin-hee are in charge of directing. PD Jo has created hits such as 'X-Man', 'Family Outing', and 'Running Man'. PD Hong co-directed 'The Answer Me Show'.

'Shooting Star' will kick off on the 14th on MBC. It will capture the moment when Park Ji-sung and Choi Yong-soo take their first steps as co-directors, strategizing meticulously from pre-match meetings.
On that day, the dream team lineup for 'Shooting Star' will also be revealed. Players from Europe, such as Dejan, Kim Young-gwang, Jo Young-cheol, and Park Gi-dong, as well as K-League veterans, will take part, leading to fierce competition for starting positions from the first assembly.
Meanwhile, this lineup is part of MBC's 'Premium Curation Strategy.' The network aims to provide verified global and domestic content for free through terrestrial broadcasting, seeking to enhance the diversity of content and viewer accessibility.
