Shin Seung-ho is a former soccer player. After approximately 11 years as an athlete, he debuted as a model in 2016. He began his acting career with the web drama 'A-Teen' in 2018.
He gained recognition for his role as 'Hwang Jang-su' (Sergeant Hwang) in the Netflix drama 'D.P.' He has built a filmography by appearing in works like 'Alchemy of Souls', 'Weak Hero Class 1', 'Bad Mom', and 'Pilot'.
He has also confirmed his next project, the drama 'The Insider', scheduled to meet viewers. It is a work based on the film of the same name, where he will collaborate with Song Kang-ho, So Ji-sub, Go Kyung-pyo, and Kim Ji-yeon.
'The Insider' is directed by Mo Wan-il, known for 'The World of the Married' and 'Into the Forest Without Anyone'. The script is written by Lee Ki-cheol, who penned 'Escape from Mogadishu' and 'Assassination'.
He is also set to appear in the upcoming film 'The Universal Reader's Perspective' (directed by Kim Byeong-woo), where Shin Seung-ho plays 'Lee Hyun-seong', a soldier who protects his comrades with immense strength. The film is set to be released on the 23rd of next month.
