Actors Shin Min-ah and Kim Young-dae have teamed up for a romantic comedy, playing a "show-window couple."
On the 5th, tvN and TVING’s original drama 'Because I Don't Want to Be Hurt' (written by Kim Hye-young and directed by Kim Jung-sik) released its first couple poster featuring Shin Min-ah (as Son Hae-young) and Kim Young-dae (as Kim Ji-wook).
The poster depicts the couple in a show-window marriage. Even before changing into their wedding dress and tuxedo, they are seen calculating the wedding gifts. Hae-young is smiling happily while holding a bundle of money, whereas Ji-wook has a stern expression.
The tagline, "This marriage will reap what it sows," hints at the reason behind their fake wedding and previews their unconventional romance.
'Because I Don't Want to Be Hurt' is a romance drama about a woman who holds a wedding to avoid losses and a man who becomes a fake groom to avoid causing trouble.
The drama is a collaborative work by PD Kim Jung-sik of 'Work Later, Drink Now Season 1' and 'Strong Girl Nam-soon' and writer Kim Hye-young of 'Her Private Life.'
Jointly planned by tvN and TVING, the drama will premiere on the 26th at 8:50 PM, following 'Is It a Coincidence?' It will also be available as VOD on TVING simultaneously.
