Broadcaster Shin Dong-yup and actors Suzy and Park Bo-gum will lead the Baeksang Arts Awards again this year.

The Baeksang Arts Awards Secretariat announced on the 9th, "Shin Dong-yup, Suzy, and Park Bo-gum will serve as the MCs for the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards, which will take place on May 5 at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul."

This marks the seventh time the three will collaborate as hosts for the Baeksang Arts Awards. Among them, Shin Dong-yup will be the host for the 11th time, Suzy for the 10th time, and Park Bo-gum for the 7th time.

Shin Dong-yup has taken on the role of a veteran presenter at the Baeksang Arts Awards since the 50th ceremony in 2024, showcasing his quick wit and smooth hosting skills as a representative MC of the Republic of Korea.

This year, he has also been nominated for the Male Variety Performer Award in the broadcasting category, competing against Kim Won-hoon, DeX, Sung Si-kyung, and Yoo Jae-suk. He is aiming for his third trophy following wins at the 30th and 50th ceremonies.

Suzy celebrates her 10th anniversary as a Baeksang MC. She is the first host in history to serve for 10 consecutive years. Since the 52nd ceremony in 2016, she has been an icon of the Baeksang Arts Awards from the MC position for a decade.

Park Bo-gum continues his Baeksang appearances. After his first introduction at the 54th ceremony in 2018, he has hosted three times in a row. After a brief hiatus for military service, he returned for his first schedule post-discharge.

This year, he also celebrated nominations in major categories. He was nominated for the Male Best Actor Award in Broadcasting for his role in the Netflix series "The Fabulous" (written by Lim Sang-chun, directed by Kim Won-seok).

Meanwhile, the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards will be held at D Hall in COEX at 8 PM on the 5th of next month. It will be broadcast live on JTBC, JTBC2, and JTBC4.
