SEVENTEEN has added another milestone to their achievements. The music video for the title track of their best album has surpassed 100 million views.
Pledis Entertainment announced on the 26th, "SEVENTEEN's best album title track 'MAESTRO' has exceeded 100 million cumulative views on YouTube as of this morning."
With this, SEVENTEEN now holds a total of eight music videos with over 100 million views. Their mini-album tracks "Don't Wanna Cry" and "Hot" have surpassed 200 million views each.
Along with "MAESTRO," the tracks "Clap," "Very Nice," "Left & Right," "Hot," and "Rock with You" have also crossed the 100 million view mark.
"MAESTRO" is a dance R&B genre song characterized by its intense piano sound. It carries the message, "Let's gather and lead the world as the best."
The song was released last April and gained popularity both domestically and internationally. Shortly after its release, it climbed to the top ranks of domestic music streaming sites such as Melon, Genie, and Bugs, and it even made its way onto the major Billboard charts in the U.S.
It captivated global listeners. Nearly a year after its release, "MAESTRO" surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, becoming SEVENTEEN's 14th song to achieve this feat.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN released their fifth studio album "HAPPY BURSTDAY" last month, which sold 2.52 million copies in its first week, marking the highest record for a K-pop album released this year.
