
'Seventeen' Jun is making his way to the domestic theater scene with a Chinese movie.
The distribution company, Distation, announced on the 22nd, "The film 'Storm's Fury' (directed by Larry Yang) has been confirmed for release on the 20th of next month."
'Storm's Fury' is an action crime blockbuster. It depicts a crime organization that steals billions by breaking through advanced surveillance systems and a tracking team that pursues them.
A trap poster has also been released. Chinese actors Jackie Chan (playing the role of Huang Dezhong) and Tony Leung (playing the role of Pu Longsheng) are seen leaning against a wall corner, creating tension with just their expressions.
Behind Tony Leung stands 'Seventeen' Jun, who plays the role of Hu Feng, the adopted son of Pu Longsheng. He is expected to showcase sleek and sophisticated action.
Jun is a former child actor who gained recognition in 2006 with the film 'The Beast Stalker.' He received the Best Newcomer Award from the Hong Kong Film Directors' Guild at that time.
In 2023, he won the Popularity Award at the Asia Content Awards & Global OTT Awards of the Busan International Film Festival for the Chinese drama 'The Underworld.'
Meanwhile, 'Storm's Fury' will be released nationwide in CGV cinemas on the 24th of next month.
