Seventeen's Jeonghan proved his unwavering popularity during his military hiatus. On the afternoon of the 27th, Jeonghan released his solo song "Better Half." By 11 PM that day, the song had topped the Bugs real-time chart.
It also performed well on international charts. "Better Half" ranked on the iTunes Top Song Chart in nine countries/regions, including Japan, the Philippines, and Thailand.
The new song expresses a heart that always moves towards "you," even from a distance. Jeonghan's warm vocals harmonize with the melody.
Japanese piano trio band Omoinotake participated in the song as a featuring artist. They are well-known in Korea as artists who provided the theme song for TBS's "I Love You."
"Better Half" will also be included in Omoinotake's new album and will feature a Japanese version. It is set to be released on the 29th along with a studio recording video.
Meanwhile, Seventeen is currently on their world tour "RIGHT HERE." They will perform at the Jakarta International Stadium on the 8th and 9th of next month.
