
SEVENTEEN is set to greet audiences with their concert documentary film.
Pledis Entertainment announced on the 2nd that the movie "SEVENTEEN RIGHT HERE: WORLD TOUR IN CINEMA" will be released simultaneously in South Korea and globally on the same day.
The film will be shown in theaters across 69 countries and regions, securing approximately 1,900 screening locations. In Japan, it is scheduled to premiere on the 16th of next month.
It will be screened in both regular and special theaters. Various formats will be available, including 'ScreenX,' which uses three screens, '4DX,' an immersive experience theater, and 'IMAX,' a large-format theater.
The box office prospects are bright. Ticket sales began on the 20th of last month. According to the Korea Film Council's integrated ticketing system, as of 9 AM on the same day, 9,174 tickets had been pre-purchased.
"SEVENTEEN RIGHT HERE: WORLD TOUR IN CINEMA" is SEVENTEEN's first concert documentary film, capturing the performances from the "RIGHT HERE" concert held on October 12-13 of last year.
During those performances, SEVENTEEN delivered 26 songs, including the title track from their 12th mini album, "LOVE, MONEY, FAME," as well as unit songs "Water" and "Candy."
They conducted a world tour consisting of 30 shows across 14 cities worldwide, engaging with their fandom, Carats. They attracted a total of 1.03 million viewers, combining both online and offline audiences.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is set to perform at the 'Tecate Pal Norte 2025' festival in Monterrey, Mexico, on the 5th (KST), making them the first K-pop artists to do so.
