SEVENTEEN has demonstrated their unparalleled popularity in Japan, achieving six awards at the ‘Golden Disc Awards’.

The Japan Record Association announced the winners of the ’38th Japan Golden Disc Awards’ on the 13th. SEVENTEEN grabbed trophies in six categories within the Asia section.

Firstly, SEVENTEEN won in the ‘Best Asian Artist’ category. Additionally, their works ‘FML’, ‘Always Yours’, and ‘SEVENTEEN’s Heaven’ dominated the ‘Best 3 Albums’ category.

Along with these, SEVENTEEN won ‘Album of the Year’ in the Asia section for ‘FML’ and ‘Music Video of the Year’ for their concert film ‘Be The Sun’ among others.

This is the first time SEVENTEEN has been awarded in the ‘Best Asian Artist’ category, and they are the first to sweep the ‘Best 3 Albums’ with three works, showcasing their unrivaled popularity.

SEVENTEEN expressed, “We are happy to receive such an honorable award. It is all thanks to CARAT and everyone who loves our music. We are grateful.”

The ‘Japan Golden Disc Awards’, initiated by the Japan Record Association in 1987, selects winners based on the sales performance of albums and music videos released within the year, including streaming performance.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is set to embark on their encore tour ‘Be The Sun’. Starting with the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on the 30th and 31st, they will visit Seoul World Cup Stadium, Osaka Yanmar Stadium Nagai, and Nagoya’s Nissan Stadium.
