Seventeen is set to open The City in LA for their concert. On the 5th, Pledis Entertainment announced the ‘Seventeen The City Los Angeles’ event. The Seventeen The City project is an event that transforms the LA downtown and its landmarks with the group’s theme.
LA marks the final stop of Seventeen’s U.S. tour, which began on the 22nd of last month (local time). Fans will experience various events through The City program from the 7th to the 11th, alongside the concert.
In collaboration with local government and private entities, they have prepared an LA landmarks lighting show, fan events, pop-up stores, and F&B collaboration programs, filled with sights, tastes, and entertainment.

The main event is the lighting show at LA’s landmark ‘Santa Monica Pier Pacific Wheel.’ On the evening of the 8th, the day before the Seventeen concert, the Ferris wheel, approximately 25 meters high located on the Santa Monica coast, will light up with Seventeen’s logo.
Fans visiting this site can take photos with the large ‘Bongbongie’ doll, inspired by Seventeen’s official light stick, while enjoying the spectacular light show from the Ferris wheel. The LA City Council is also participating in The City project.
On the same day, the council plans to award Seventeen a commendation, typically given to individuals and organizations contributing to art, culture, and the community.
LA native Joshua will visit City Hall on the morning of that day as a gesture of gratitude. He will receive the commendation and deliver a commemorative speech, sharing his thoughts on holding a concert and The City project in the city he grew up in, and the connection between LA and Seventeen.
A party, open to fan participation, will also be held. On the 7th, Club Academy LA will host a party to celebrate the first day of The City project. This club is listed as one of the top 10 clubs by the LA Tourism Board. It’s a popular spot frequented by tourists and locals alike.
Club Academy LA will offer a special Seventeen-themed cocktail menu and play Seventeen hits during peak club hours to elevate the atmosphere.
A pop-up store featuring special merch will open as well. Located in the ‘Designer Art Gallery’ downtown, it will offer 11 limited-edition items for the U.S. tour, including varsity jackets, t-shirts, and hoodies incorporating the Seventeen The City logo.
Eight famous Korean F&B brands in LA Koreatown will provide a Seventeen-themed culinary experience. Five Korean restaurants popular among locals, including ‘Beverly Soon Tofu,’ will offer Seventeen-themed menus.
A Pledis spokesperson stated, “Thanks to Seventeen’s strong global influence and the high interest shown by fans in The City, we were able to collaborate actively with local institutions and brands in LA to provide a rich experience.”
They added, “Starting from Japan in 2022, The Seventeen The City project has expanded to the U.S. in just over three years. We plan to continue offering diverse artist IP experiences across various regions through The City.”
Meanwhile, Seventeen will conclude their U.S. shows in LA on the 9th and 10th. They will continue with a dome tour in four Japanese cities and an Asia tour in Bulacan, Philippines; Singapore; Jakarta, Indonesia; and Bangkok, Thailand starting in January next year.
