
SEVENTEEN has proven their popularity in the Land of the Rising Sun. They ranked highest among overseas artists on the Oricon half-year album chart.
On the 25th, Oricon released the list of 'Oricon Half-Year Ranking 2025' on their website. The counting period was from December 9 of last year to the 8th of this month.
SEVENTEEN's fifth studio album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' charted in two categories, achieving 2nd place in the 'Combined Album Ranking' and 3rd place in the 'Album Ranking.'
They reached the highest sales record among overseas artists. 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' surpassed 500,000 copies shipped just five days after its release.
The new album topped various charts, including 1st place on Oricon’s 'Daily Album Ranking,' 'Weekly Album Ranking,' and 'Weekly Combined Album Ranking.'
Their fourth Japanese single 'Shohikigen' (消費期限) also made its mark on the 'Single Ranking' category, landing at 20th place with 210,000 points.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN sings the theme song 'Where Love Passed' for the Korea-Japan joint drama 'Hatsukoi Dogs.'
