SEVENTEEN, No. 1 on Japan’s Oricon Weekly Chart… Highest Sales by a Foreign Artist This Year

SEVENTEEN has reached the top of Japan's Oricon chart. Oricon Japan revealed the latest chart rankings (dated October 28) on the 22nd, with SEVENTEEN's mini-album 'SPILL THE FEELS' taking the No.1 spot on the weekly album ranking.

The album sold a total of 410,000 copies, breaking their previous record of 333,000 copies (17 IS RIGHT HERE). This marks the highest weekly album sales by a foreign artist this year.

SEVENTEEN has topped this chart a total of 13 times, continuing their record for the most No.1 hits by a foreign artist. Since 2021's 'Attacca', they have achieved 9 consecutive No.1 albums.

'SPILL THE FEELS' is also performing well on international charts. During the first week of release (October 14-20), it sold over 3.16 million copies, making it the K-pop album with the highest first-week sales this year.

With their new release, SEVENTEEN also topped the Oricon Daily Album Ranking four times. The title track 'Love, Money, Fame' is maintaining high positions on domestic music charts such as Melon and Bugs. They also released the music video for the song 'Eyes On You' on the 21st. A representative commented that “global fans' interest in the album's tracks is expected to grow.”

SEVENTEEN is also embarking on a world tour. Starting in Rosemont on the 22nd and 23rd (local time), they will hold a total of 10 performances across five U.S. cities including New York, Texas, Oakland, and LA.

A Japan dome tour is also planned. They will visit Vantelin Dome Nagoya in Aichi on November 29-30, Tokyo Dome on December 4-5, and Kyocera Dome Osaka on December 12 and 14-15. Subsequently, they will perform at Fukuoka PayPay Dome on December 19 and 21-22. A Japanese single album release is also planned for SEVENTEEN.
