Seventeen is embarking on a new world tour, which will kick off in Incheon this coming second half of the year. The group will hold their world tour 'NEW_' on September 13-14 for two days at the Incheon Asian Games Main Stadium in Seo-gu, Incheon. This is the opening performance of the tour.
'NEW_' hints at the new challenges they will undertake. The name includes a blank (_) after the word 'New', which means 'new' in English, symbolizing endless possibilities encapsulated in the concert title.
Seventeen has been passionately reborn. They released their fifth studio album, 'HAPPY BURSTDAY', this past May, expanding their musical spectrum with solo tracks and more. They have proven themselves as a top K-pop group, with the album reaching the top of the Circle Chart's first half album chart and debuting at No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard main album chart, the Billboard 200.
The new world tour will serve as a chance to witness their true capabilities. It will also reignite the excitement for their 10th anniversary party. It will be interesting to see what milestones Seventeen will set.
