Seventeen started their 10th debut anniversary meaningfully by winning the grand prize at the Golden Disc Awards. The 39th Golden Disc Awards was held on the 5th at the Fukuoka PayPay Dome in Japan. Seventeen received the grand prize in the album category with their 12th mini album. They won the grand prize trophy for the second consecutive year.

According to Circle Chart’s sales, “SPILL THE FEELS” was the best-selling album last year. They also won the main award in the album category, achieving two awards in total. They set a remarkable record of winning for 10 consecutive years since 2016.

Seventeen said, “This award was received because of CARAT (name of their fandom),” adding, “At first, we thought you were our pride, but upon reflection, we realized CARAT is indeed our pride.” They continued, “An album is the result of messages we want to convey through music, etc.

We aim to continue delivering positive messages in the future.” They also mentioned Jeonghan, who is currently serving alternative service, saying, “We believe this is an award received together. We will work hard until the end, bearing the weight of the award.”

Seventeen’s stage performance heated up the atmosphere. They performed unit performances and songs like “LOVE, MONEY, FAME” and “Aju Nice” (Very NICE). Particularly, member Jun made a surprise appearance at the event. He had to briefly step down from team activities due to his schedule in China but joined for the performance of “Aju Nice.”

Last year, Seventeen had a remarkable performance, with their best album, the 12th mini album, and Jeonghan X Wonwoo’s unit single 1st album recording nearly 10 million cumulative sales. They will continue their vigorous activities this year. Unit BSS will release their single 2nd album “TELEPARTY” on the 8th.

They are also planning to conduct a world tour simultaneously. Meanwhile, Seventeen will appear at ‘Tecate Pa’l Norte’ held in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, this coming April.
